Come join us at the Sens House and meet up with other conference attendees! Grab that chance to network ahead of the main conference days in a fun and relaxing environment. Food and drink options available for purchase.
Sens House is just a short 10-minute walk from the Shaw Center through the beautiful Ottawa downtown.

Opening Reception

Location: Museum of History
Make sure you join us for an unforgettable opening reception at the Museum of History.
A short 15 minute walk through the city of Ottawa and over the river to the province of Quebec! Walking guides will be available from the Shaw Centre for those who would like to walk in a group.
Limited bus transportation is also available for those who do not wish to walk.
The reception is included in all conference registrations, but please indicate your interest in the registration form.

WIS Event: Elevating and Championing Each Other Through Sponsorship

How can we communicate, connect, and inspire confidence for women and underrepresented genders within the biomechanics community? At every career stage, sponsors play a critical role in publicly acknowledging achievements, advocating, and generally using their power and privilege to help their mentees. At this workshop, we will have interactive roundtable discussions addressing topics from finding sponsors to acknowledging bias as a sponsor. Attendees will leave with actionable ways that they can be a better sponsor (at any career stage) for the biomechanics community.
All attendees are welcome to participate. A sign up form will be circulated prior to the conference to all registered delegates to confirm attendance.
Conference Dinner

Location: Trillium Ballroom, Shaw Centre
Join us for closing dinner in the Trillium Ballroom at the Shaw Centre. Make memories with your friends and colleagues during the last evening of NACOB 2022.
A delicious three course meal will be served followed by an evening of dancing and celebrating the return to conferences!
Cost:
